His knowledge and managerial skills were also essential in his roles as advisor to the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice and later as Deputy Director at the same ministry, where he successfully coordinated the Directorate for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities and participated in the development of national strategies that significantly impacted the lives of vulnerable people.

Iulian Aldea held the position of head of office at the European Parliament in Brussels, where his main responsibilities included coordinating the daily activities of the office. In this role, he managed relationships between the office and the functional structures of the European Parliament and the European Commission.
